Con este último posteo cerramos el recorrido de la sesión 1 desde la antigua grecia hasta los rincones mas lejanos de extremo oriente, pasando por monedas romanas republicanas, imperiales y bajo imperiales, bizantinas y medievales.
Dentro de cada sección encontraras piezas relevantes como la 60 Litras de Siracusa bajo Hieron II con un retrato de Perséfone muy atractivo; el denario de Julio César que ilustra a Eneas llevando a su padre Anquises a Italia después de la guerra de Troya; el cristograma de Magnencio; la silicua de Valentiniano I o el cash chino Wu Xing Da Bu, de un período muy escaso (Northern Zhou 557-581AD) previo a la reunificación iniciada por la dinastía Sui.

Lote 964. Kingdom of Siam (Thailand) Lot x 50 Pee. Porcelain Gambling Token (1760-1875). The “Pee” were Chinese-run gambling house chips (Hongs) in Thailand. Some of them with poems, messages of good omens, luck and even monetary equivalents (Salung, Fuang, Song Pei, Pai, Att, etc). Many of these pieces are described in the catalog “Siamese Porcelain and Other Tiles” by H.A. Ramsden of 1911. Est. 100-200
